The fashion heiress and founder of the purpose-driven AGCF handbag, jewelry, and accessories brand shares insight into legacy, impact, and the American dream

What inspired you to create your own brand?

I spent years deeply immersed in nonprofit work focused on protecting children. I saw firsthand how fashion and luxury could play a more meaningful role in supporting wellbeing and values, but when I approached the industry, I encountered resistance. That experience lingered. Then, about a year later, a series of scandals involving child imagery shook the sector. In that moment, I realized I needed to create something aligned with my own principles— a brand that treats protecting and uplifting vulnerable children as the highest form of luxury. AGCF was born from that conviction: to redefine what luxury can stand for in the twenty-first century.

How does your family legacy influence your collections?

My grandfather’s entrepreneurial spirit and vision for building something enduring have shaped AGCF profoundly. His spirit has guided me along the way as I built the brand, and in many ways AGCF is an homage to him and his legacy. The luxury industry as we know it today was influenced in so many ways by Dr. Aldo Gucci. He was so far ahead of his time. While I draw on that heritage of excellence and refinement, AGCF reflects a purpose-driven ethos—one that honors collective progress, ethical responsibility, and accessibility in the truest sense of inspiring positive change for future generations. The brand channels that legacy into modern collections that prioritize quality, timelessness, and impact.

Tell us about the Unity Bag and your partnership with First Lady Melania Trump.

I’m deeply grateful to the First Lady for her unwavering commitment to children’s well-being. Partnering with her on Fostering the Future has been an honor, particularly in supporting scholarships for young people aging out of foster care—a time when they often face the greatest vulnerability without family support. The Unity Bag embodies everything AGCF stands for: unity, hope, and the belief that true luxury lies in protecting and empowering the most vulnerable. Designed as a timeless piece with artisan craftsmanship, it serves as a tribute to this shared mission, with 20 percent of proceeds dedicated to these initiatives.

How is the brand celebrating America’s 250th anniversary?

We’re proud to mark America’s 250th anniversary with the limitededition Unity Bag America 250 collection, featuring the iconic bag in the red, white, and blue of the American flag. This is my personal thank you to the country that has given so much to me and my family. Born in New York City, I’ve spent much of my life here, and it feels like home. America has always been a place of opportunity, innovation, and reinvention—the spirit that allows bold ideas and meaningful change to flourish. My grandfather Aldo Gucci’s story is often seen as the “Made in Italy” story, but his real story is that of the American dream. It is here where he had by far his greatest success and where he created the family empire. It is here where you can still see the influence and legacy he left behind in so many ways—Rodeo Drive, Palm Beach, the MoMA in New York. AGCF is proudly an American fashion house, and this collection celebrates that optimism and the possibilities this nation represents.
